Volunteers are needed on Saturday, November 16 from 10AM to Noon to help the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative remove invasive Scotch broom from the Oregon Dunes Day Use Area. The Day Use Area is mid-way between Reedsport and Florence. It is a short walk to the work site. You can go to the beach after the event, but it is a rather steep hike back up.
